I would split myself;

Stitch my flesh around your form.

Hunger no more you frail thing,

Under the cover of taut flesh;

Naught but a few years.

Gather lessons you need; leave the rest.

Enough to make it to a new age,

Rather than being whet on the asphalt.

I'd be gutted like a fish;

Small and delicate...

Have nothing to worry about.

Ululating with the mucus and groaning organs.

Near my heart where you can rest.

Gain nutrition from me as you did before.

Emerge clean and new and whole,

Revenant of flesh.

If only to make room for you.

Still but a child,

Hang yourself, draped in intestines as a hammock.

Unlock the bindings before they come,

Negate that which took from you.

Grant it no power,

Eve of an adulthood too soon.

Return to membrane chambers and try again.

In a safe warm place.

So, yet to be compromised.

How does it feel?

Unlock what health comes from requiem.

Narrow the scope.

Give into nothing but conviction.

Earn all that you lost.

Regret will not become you.
